I keep thinking of ideas for post on this blog. Things I want to share with you guys, So I have a growing list. Any only now have I decided to sit down in my PJs, with a little music and eggnog to start on my list. I am getting behind. *enter blog post*
My super brilliant amazing roommate, Natalie came home the other day (a couple weeks ago now ;) and she was really excited to talk to me as soon as she had walked through door. She told me how she was on the bus and she saw this guy. She told me he was so cute. She said, "Regardless of his orientation, I just thought you guys would look great together!". I laughed and blushed. I was a little embarrassed. I mean even though I am super out of the closet and everyone that knows me knows I am gay... I am a closet case! Natalie telling me this meant a lot to me. Like my mom telling her coworkers about my "gay work" haha. This is a level of Acceptance beyond anything I have experienced. Even I have a problem seeing same-sex couples together. Honestly sometimes it feels awkward. For Nat to see someone and think of me, it is really cool.

I have now been on three dates in Seattle, they were all really nice and it was fun to go out and do things not related to work or the small group of people I know, but the first two weren't anything special.
And now after a date on Wednesday I sit here, flutter, thinking about the date and waiting until I decide it's a good time to call him again.
I had talked with him on one of the many gay social networking sites I am on, I usually don't pay much attention to these sites, but he was nice enough and really smart, and good looking. So we eventually decided to meet for coffee. Things went so well we decided we didn't want to end with the last drop of coffee so we went to his place. The rest of the night we just sat and talked (and maybe a little cuddling and kissing ;) We talked until 2am! He put a movie on (Inglorious Bastards, good choice) but we didn't pay much attention to it, just talked about a lot of different things. It was great.
So I had told Nat and Robert that I was going to hang out with a work friend. I instantly felt dumb. I am really honest about everything but for some reason I compulsively lie about little things that don't matter. I don't know why. So I came home and told Natalie about my date, and she laughed at the lie bit. Then I started asking them about how I pursue this. I haven't really ever dated! I don't know what to do. I don't want to play the game, but at the same time I don't want to mess up! What do I do? So it's been a day and I am going to wait until it is a little latter in the day and I am going to call him.
I feel like it might be to early to share this, but I haven't felt this way since... well you know. Well either way, great or bad, you will hear about "Spark". BAH I am so fluttery right now I disgust myself. haha.
I would like to take this time to make a public service announcement.
Seriously *serious face here* It is important. It is only a quick pin prick in the finger and a few minutes and its done! Usually free. It can save yours and others life. After being terribly sick, I was a little afraid about the symptoms that I had. So I went to a clinic and paid $40 to get tested for every STD imaginable. It was a great experience and that $40 could have saved my life if I had anything. Get it done, every three months, get your friends, family, strangers to do it. Thank You.

Love,
Twig

Hey, I am checking this blog using the phone and this appears to be kind of odd. Thought you'd wish to know. This is a great write-up nevertheless, did not mess that up.
